Post #4 -- 5 Thumbnail Sketches for BarnYard Adventures

#4 of Search For 10 Art Journey. Here are the 5 loose thumbnail sketches I made. Keep in mind my Post #2 showing the school mural sketch on calendar paper turned into a 37 foot long mural! As you can see, the first 2 thumbnails are from the perspective of inside the barn, looking out. Not very much scenery shown here though. The next 3 thumbnails are from the perspective of outside the barnyard.  The questions in these 3 really came down to: How big to make the buildings? How much space for the animals and scenery? #5 is the lucky winner! It had a large enough barn to also show some animals inside it, but still much room for animals in the foreground and scenery in the background. However, I did flip it horizontally, so the buildings are now on the left side. I am almost finished with my 6"x9" sketch that will have some more detail in it.  Stay tuned until next week!
