Part 11 Landscape Vellum Page Completed...(Again!)

Part 11 Landscape Vellum Page Completed...(Again!)

Just when I thought my landscape vellum page was finished, I realized it still needed a few important changes.  I added a creek, removed a gravel road, and redesigned the pond to create a stronger composition.

This experience reminds me why I use separate vellum pages throughout the design process. Making major revisions on one layer allows me to experiment freely without smudging or damaging the rest of the drawing.

You may notice blank spaces in the corn rows. Those areas have been intentionally left open because that's where the barn and silo will eventually be placed when all the vellum layers come together.

I also spent time sketching animals—seven cows, to be exact (can you say MOO 🐄). Those sketches will take center stage in the upcoming posts, so stay tuned!
