Part 24—HOW Many Animals Did I Say?!

Can we please be frank?

After I finished painting the donkey, and as I was trying to decide the colors for the horses, it dawned on me that I still had SO MANY animals left to paint, along with the pond and windmill.

Big sigh!

Actually, while painting my very detailed Search For 10s, I usually do hit a proverbial artist's wall of burnout. It's a good thing that I love painting so much that, after a short break, I am able to climb over that wall—albeit huffing and puffing—and continue painting.

I have found that a break brings me refreshed energy and new creative juices flowing. Walls are just another normal step in an artist's journey. 60 animals—here I come!
